Garciaparra traded to Cubs

Last night was an epiphany for Zoe. She learned to spell a word on her own for the first time (that wasn't her name, that is.)

We were playing a game where I'd write a word on her MagnaDoodle and she'd have to sound out the letters to guess the word. She got really good at it really quickly, so I upped the ante. I asked her to think of her own word in her head, and then write that word on the MagnaDoodle.

In true Zoe form, the word she came up with, and spelled correctly I might add, is in the picture here. Keep in mind this is in no way staged. Click on the pic for a larger version.

So I borrowed a digital video camera from a guy at work the other day. I had to do some video stuff for the Cubist Intranet. Perfect excuse to get some footage of the shorties, right? Well, Zoe sure delivers in the ham-it-up department. Note the card that she "reads" the questions from, as well as the freat cash prizes she awards for correct answers. Look out, Regis!
